Total Time:22 minutes
Yield:12 taco cups
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning
¾ cup water
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
12 wonton wrappers or small tortillas
½ cup diced tomatoes
¼ cup chopped green onions
¼ cup sour cream
¼ cup sliced black olives (optional)
¼ cup jalapeños (optional)
Instructions
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a muffin tin.
Prepare Taco Filling: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat. Add taco seasoning and ¾ cup water, then simmer until thickened.
Assemble Cups: Place wonton wrappers or small tortillas into each muffin cup, pressing gently to form a cup shape.
Fill & Bake: Spoon seasoned beef into each cup, then top with shredded cheese. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are crispy and cheese is melted.
Add Toppings & Serve: Remove from oven, let cool slightly, and add toppings like diced tomatoes, green onions, sour cream, and jalapeños. Serve warm!
Notes
Make it Spicy: Add extra jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce to the beef mixture.
Vegetarian Option: Swap ground beef for black beans or crumbled tofu.
Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in an oven at 350°F for 5-7 minutes to keep them crispy.
