SOMERLEY is a collaborative effort from luxurious UK wedding ceremony suppliers to seize the love story of Megan & James. Nestled inside 7,000 acres of the Hampshire countryside, Somerley Home was the dream venue for this editorial. Stuffed with unimaginable artwork and particulars, it supplied an idyllic setting for our trendy, female and floral-focused idea.

Somerley Home has no scarcity of gorgeous backdrops. We used the Drawing Room as our ceremony setting—the fireside was a shocking basis for our dramatic florals, accented with candles and delicate ribbons. The Image Gallery, full of sunshine and artwork, was used for our tablescape set up by Bloominati Florals. Lastly, the gardens surrounding Somerley Home supplied the romantic, Italian-inspired backdrop we dreamed of.

Female, lavish, and trendy weddings continuously encourage my co-planner Rachel (Images By Rachel Wooden) and me, Ash (Pleasure, By Ash). We needed SOMERLEY to replicate this aesthetic, focussing on massive floral installations and trendy styling, together with luxurious textures similar to linen and bamboo silk paired with luxurious embroidery and ruffled edges. Trendy accents included ribbons, pearls and gold. We additionally included distinctive wedding ceremony particulars like oysters and a millefoglie wedding ceremony cake. We needed SOMERLEY to really feel luxurious, trendy and actual.

The color story displays a recent tackle pastels, which was then guided by the season and the gorgeous interiors of Somerley Home. With ‘pastel, however luxurious’ in thoughts, we chosen a celebration of soppy, muted colors – quicksand rose and blush pink, paired with pale lilac and barely buttercup. These have been blended with stylish neutrals of pale nude, peachy ivory, and recent white. The gold detailing in Somerley Home introduced these colors to life, resulting in wealthy, romantic and female photos.

We have been extremely grateful to work with a few of the finest bridal suppliers within the UK.

Our hair and make-up artists, Ana Vas and Amber Harlow Make-up, selected a basic, female, glowy make-up look alongside two hairstyles – a contemporary wave and a free updo. In our bridal prep scene, Megan wore a home made gown from Kahani (by Julita London). Every gown is exclusive, made out of genuine silk Indian saris.

We featured two stunning Mara Marie Bridal robes for SOMERLEY, with Megan altering forward of the cake-cutting to replicate a real-life bridal outfit change. The primary robe was ‘Payton’, a beautiful satin-face organza robe with a floral display printed design. We significantly beloved the hand-draped bodice and slit. We paired this with a veil from Rebecca Anne Designs, a Cara necklace from Kiri & Belle, micro moissanite hoops, and the Harper engagement ring from JUNI. The second robe, photographed within the tablescape and cake-cutting scene, was ‘Dorset’. It options 22 metres of hand-ripped satin-faced organza and a ribbon bow across the waist.

James was styled in a double-breasted tuxedo by Fallen Hero retailer and wore the lads’s sq. signet from JUNI.

The main points of SOMERLEY have been created with trendy, romantic class in thoughts. Jenna made our stationery and flowing welcome signal at Oh Blythe Design. Jenna designed floral embossed invitation playing cards, complemented by oval-shaped element playing cards, tied along with pale nude silk ribbon. The handcrafted vow books have been adorned with tiny pearls and completed with a fragile silk ribbon cascading down the backbone. Jenna hand-painted a bespoke ribbon to accompany the bridal bouquet, borrowing an exquisite quote from Shahrazad al-Khalij, “If sometime the moon calls you by your identify don’t be stunned, As a result of each night time I inform her about you.”

The grand tablescape was one of many core scenes for SOMERLEY. It was floral-focused and accented with ornate, classical tableware with a contemporary twist, together with ornamental cabbage-pattern plates, rippled glassware, and vintage-style cutlery. Ribbons adorned the minimalist candles, and free pearls embellished the desk.

SOMERLEY included two desserts Vaani (Sugar Plum Bakes) created—first, the Millefoglie, a standard Italian wedding ceremony cake. Vaani’s tackle this was an irresistible mixture of layers of crisp puff pastry, crammed with luxurious creme patisserie and embellished with recent berries and delicate mini meringue kisses. The three-tier cake was embellished with lashings of buttercream and embellished with edible pearls (a nod to a few of the different pearl particulars within the styling) and delicate handcrafted sugar flowers in shades of pale pink and pale blue. The cake desk was draped with intricate cloth designs by Mia Sylvia.

We labored with Gemma from Bloominati Florals, who was the proper match for SOMERLEY. Gemma instructed a narrative of refined spring class with modern twists. When developing the floral recipe, Gemma selected ruffley Ranunculus, luxurious Quicksand, and Vendela Roses because the centre-stage florals, with a base of blush Waxflower, which ensured longevity and enhanced the color palette within the absence of foliage.

For SOMERLEY, our precedence was to reuse as many flowers as potential to scale back waste and present actual {couples} the probabilities of repurposing on their wedding ceremony day. Gemma created a number of impactful floral moments throughout the day, shifting floral runners and columns from scene to scene. Gemma and her spectacular floral designs displayed such versatility all through the day, for which we’re very grateful.
